Letter to Ex-Twelthies

Letter to Ex-Twelthies Home career Letter to Ex-TwelthiescareerLetter to Ex-TwelthiesBy Akshita97 - May 31, 201619650Facebook Dear ex-twelthiesFirst of all, congratulations everyone for your sky shooting efforts, regardless of the results. @90+ scorers, confused? To be happy or sad? @95, thankful enough? @95+, on cloud nine? Below 90, dead or alive? Am I wrong in guessing your feelings, guys? Well, I don’t think so.In whichever category you may lie, every heart is surely beating too fast because the *cut-offs* are on their way. It happens every year, nothing new, you see! But this time its meant for YOU, YOUR future, YOUR career, so handle it wisely. ??Don’t fall foolishly in the trap of careers and courses. Choose the one which best suits you. Choose the one which is meant for you. Not the one, which lures you just for the time being. Your choice will be the first cut in shaping your future personality. Its not that a wrong choice today is a definite failure tomorrow. There always lies one way or th e other to correct past mistakes. But if the first step is taken a bit wisely and thoughtfully, further steps do become a little easy. The most important point to ponder upon is the Course vs. College Challenge. It is not as tough as it seems. I faced a hell lot of confusion regarding Course A vs. B matter, but had always clear in mind that College should never be given preference over course. I mean, a student who hates reading novels, seeks admission in English Hons. in Hansraj, just because he’s got a 97! I’d call him an educated fool. C’mon, do what you’re good at, what you understand well, what interests you, what your mind easily absorbs and has the potential to excel upon. Opting for your dream college and neglecting your dream course is not what I would suggest. Also, choose your courses wisely. I was too damn confused between B. Com and Eco Hons. Being good at economics in class 11th and 12th doesn’t signify that you’ll sail through it in UG course too. Be sure of your interest area and your capabilty to handle further study in that subject area. It’s not that I would not have been able to *handle* eco well. Its just that I wanted to excel in every subject of commerce, and not solely economics. My choice may differ from yours. It may even match. Its just that, be crystal clear about what you choose. I’ve seen people regretting. Now, to those who feel that they haven’t scored well. No score is the best score. No college, the best institute. No teacher becomes a teacher without his/her students. No student excels without his rigorous efforts. In the end, its all about YOU. How YOU do it. Your grade won’t even affect the most precious aspects of your life. Remember VIR DAS’ video? Watch it again: https://youtu.be/3qxftKkOxMoFew days back I read, that a guy of a Reputed DU College, gave his 10lac package job, just to chase his dream, which was of another interest area. It simply means, that at the end, your dreams should win. Your inter est should shine in your career. You become able to live happily, even if your package is not big enough, compared to your Engineer friend. (3 idiots, Farhaan, Remember?)Just BE HAPPY people!! And dear parents, please don’t snatch away your child’s precious smile just because of his low grade. I know you’ll still love him like always. But at this moment, love him more, and support him.??Regards A DUite

3 Amazing Thailand Resort Experiences

3 Amazing Thailand Resort Experiences If you havent been to Thailand, youre edging towards being in the minority.  The capital, Bangkok,  is host to over 16 million visitors annually.  But Thailand offers much more than just Bangkok, which is a destination worth visiting on its own.  If youre planning a major holiday or vacation, theres good reason to put Thailand at the top of your list. Its been a few years since I visited, but the memories are still vivid and pleasant.  Whether your interests tend more towards cultural, natural, or historical,  youll find plenty to capture your attention.  And for the inner shopper lurking inside you, dont miss the huge malls and shopping areas, some of which operate all night long! Impressive.  Thats Thailand. What I was most impressed with was the people.  I was there for three weeks, and found that literally everyone was polite beyond compare.  I felt like an honored guest.  That makes it really easy to feel at ease and relax, even when youre busy pursuing the sights. You may not think so by looking at me, but Im a foodie.  If I didnt control myself Id be . . . well, out of control!  And theres plenty of incredible temptations that demand indulgence.  Some were new to me, and so delicious they were almost orgasmic.  Theres just no better way to describe them! With those enticements, all thats left is to choose a perfect resort. Choosing A Resort Thailand is only a little bigger than the U.S. state of California, or about twice the size of the U.K.  But its landscape varies from stunning sandy beaches washed by crystal waters to remote mountain villages to the international city of Bangkok.  In all of them, there are great choices for vacation resorts.  If youve got the time and inclination, you may want to move your travel base from one resort to another to accommodate experiencing as much of Thailand as possible.  Here are three that wont disappoint! Bangkok Bangkok is a city of over six million population, but its not your ordinary metropolitan gray.  Filled with stunning ornate shrines, huge shopping areas, and a humming night life, theres enough here to keep you busy for days if not weeks.  Top that off with the availability of very reasonably priced five star resorts, and its travelers nirvana. A good example is the S31 resort.  S31 Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok is located in the Sukhumvit area, an exclusive residential and lifestyle district in the Thai capital. This place is home to numerous hip clubs and bars, restaurants, and malls. From here, the accommodation is only 0.6 km from the Prompong Skytrain Station, and 20.6 km from Don Mueang International Airport and Suvarnabhumi International Airport. With the proximity of S31 Sukhumvit Hotel’s location to the following points of interest, convenience is always within reach. EmQuartier shopping mall â€" 5 minute walk The Emporium shopping mall â€" 0.8 km or a 10-minute walk Villa Market â€" 500 meters or a 6-minute walk Terminal 21 Shopping Mall â€" 10-minute walk Queen Sirikit National Convention Center â€" 8-minute drive   Koh Tao If youre looking for more of the tropical paradise, Thailand has lots to offer.  With some of the worlds most beautiful beaches, youll be tempted to never go home, and many do!  Thailand is home to a huge expatriate population, and is listed as one of the top 5 locations for expats, as theyre called.  Once youre there, youll see why. A perfect example of the many beach paradise resorts is  Naroua’s Koh Tao Luxury Villas.  They  offer luxury travelers a natural wilderness setting with a mountain-top view and all the Amenities of five-star accommodation. With amazing views of the sea and surrounding landscape, combined with a large, open space villa, you and your family can enjoy an experience in Thailand like none other. Phuket Phuket is a rainforested and mountainous island in the south of Thailand.  Its a unique combination of tropical resort and swinging hot spot.  If youre into the full immersion of paradise by day and party by night, this may be your perfect choice.   On the other hand, there are some off-the-radar options in Phuket that are simply heavenly and will make you forget the craziness of the modern world.  Personally, I tend toward the latter. If you agree, youll want to consider  Keemala.   Its  nestled well away from the crowds and overlooking Kamala Village and the Andaman Sea. Positioned in the hills and within the lush woodlands, Keemala offers a retreat from every day life and welcomes you in to an enchanting evergreen wonderland. Thailand is a land youll find captivating, and no doubt want to return to more than once.  Who knows,  you may fall so totally in love with it that one day you find Thailand in your address!
